Packtic needs access to the Internet to work properly.

If the network is too weak or totally inaccessible in the bulk department, you can enter the traceability in two stages.

  1. Switch to File mode beforehand to take batch photos:
    • go to Expert from the bottom menu
    • click on the Batch photo settings banner
    • click on:
      • Camera for taking photos of the batch during traceability (if the network connection is good)
      • File to import a previously taken photo
    • click on the arrow_back button top left to continue
  2. To begin with, in the bulk department:
    • bring your device (phone, tablet)
    • prepare a list to record the numbers of the dispensers concerned
    • fill the dispensers one by one, and:
      • take a photo of the batch(es) used for filling the dispenser
      • note the dispenser number on the list
  3. Then, when you are connected to the network, browse the list filled in earlier, and for each dispenser in the list:
    • find the dispenser in your list of dispensers on Packtic
    • open the dispenser page
    • fill in the traceability (see here for an empty silo, and here for a refill): when clicking on the photo_camera icon, choose the corresponding photo taken previously from your photo gallery

You can switch back to Camera mode in the Batch photo settings when the network connection becomes usable again.
