You can set up surveys and link them to one or more types of containers that you manage.

When a consumer scans the QR code on the container, and if the container corresponds to the types of containers linked to the survey, the survey will then be suggested. It will also be accessible from the consumer’s Containers Wali space.

To access your surveys, from the home page, click on the more_vert button at the top right and select Surveys.

Designing a survey questionnaire

At this stage, REUSE Pilot supports questionnaires created with SurveyJS.

In order to create a survey, you must first have composed the associated questionnaire:

  • Open the SurveyJS online Survey Creator.
  • Define the different questions and their sequencing in the Designer tab.
  • You can preview the questionnaire at any time from the Preview tab.
  • Once your questionnaire is ready, copy the JSON code available in the JSON Editor tab and paste it into the survey structure (see below).

For more details on the different elements of a SurveyJS questionnaire, question types, and conditional questions, see the SurveyJS documentation online.

Creating a survey

To create a survey from the surveys page, click on the add button in the top right corner.

Then fill in:

  • the (internal) name of the survey
  • the title and description of the survey, which will be displayed to the consumer
  • the survey structure (in JSON format, copied from SurveyJS Survey Creator - see above)
  • its scope, i.e. the types of containers covered by the survey
    • click on Edit to select the types of containers

Click on Validate to save the new survey.

Data collected

The data from the questionnaire answers is your property, and you are responsible for its processing.

Managing surveys

From the surveys page, by clicking on an existing survey, you can:

  • View the number of responses to the questionnaire and download them in CSV format.
  • Copy the survey link, for example if you wish to distribute it separately from the consumer’s container scans.
  • From the survey menu accessible via the more_green button in the top right corner:
    • Edit the survey (name, title, and description).
    • Modify the scope of the survey (the associated types of containers).
    • Copy the JSON structure of the survey.
      • For example, you can use this structure in the Survey Creator online tool from SurveyJS (JSON Editor tab) to compose a new survey.

Deactivate a survey

Once created, a survey cannot be deleted.

However, you can prevent it from being presented to consumers by modifying its scope and removing all associated container types.
