You can declare container types and attach metadata to them (name, description, usage tips, deposit amount, return instructions, delay before a return incentive alert, find ou more).

This makes it possible, on the one hand, to improve the management of containers by grouping them by type.

On the other hand, data about the container will be visible to the end user when scanning the QR code.

If the scan is performed using the Wali app, consumers will be able to manage their containers, find information about each container, receive reminders to return them, earn points, and progress through their reuse levels.

Managing container types

To manage container types, click on the more_vert button on the home page, and select Container types from the menu.

You can then create or modify container types and provide the following information:

  • title
  • illustration (png image in 3x2 format with a transparent background)
  • GRAI root on 12 digits
  • title for the description block
  • container description
  • title for the information block to find out more
  • description to find out more
  • usage tips
  • return instructions
  • deposit amount
  • maximum number of days of detention before a return incentive alert is issued
  • number of points that the consumer will receive after returning the container (note: one point is worth €0.01)

Only the title and GRAI root are mandatory.
