Roles and activities
The REUSE PILOT platform addresses different types of player, each with different roles.

Marketer
Marketers market and manage a range of reusable containers.
They can transfer the containers to other players (filler, distributor, refurbisher).
They can declare incidents.
The marketer also has the role of refurbisher.
The marketer has visibility over all the reusable containers and their transfer and refurbishment history.
Filler
Fillers fill the reusable containers transferred to them with products.
They can transfer the containers to other players (usually a distributor or an end user).
They can declare incidents.
If the filler is itself a producer, it manages information on the products it markets, using the PACKTIC solution.
Distributor, collector
A distributor receives reusable containers from a marketer or filler and generally transfers them to an end user.
A collector retrieves returnable containers from end-users, and generally transfers them to a refurbisher or to the marketer.
They can declare incidents.
Refurbisher
Refurbishers carry out operations to refurbish the containers they have received. They can then transfer them to the marketer or a distributor.
They can declare incidents.
End user
End users receive reusable containers, usually from a distributor.
They don’t use REUSE PILOT.
However, they can view information about the container and the traceability information about the product it contains by opening the URL contained in the GRAI QR code associated with the container.
Once the containers have been used, they transfer them “physically” to a collector, reconditioner or distributor, without performing any operation in REUSE PILOT.
