What is the purpose of the product assortment?

The product assortment is optional.

It allows you to define an ordered list of products that you consider must be distributed in all shops.

When a new shop is declared by one of your area managers, a set of dispensers will be pre-generated, pre-filled with the products in the assortment, in the order in which you have arranged them.

For example, if you define an assortment containing:

  1. whole almonds
  2. sports mix
  3. salted roasted cashew nuts
  4. currants

when a new shop is declared, 4 dispensers will be automatically added, pre-filled with the corresponding products:

  • Dispenser 00001, whole almonds
  • Dispenser 00002, sports mix
  • Dispenser 00003, salted roasted cashew nuts
  • Dispenser 00004, currants

Assortment management

To access product assortment management, click on the more_vert button at the top right, then select Manage product assortment.

The following functions are available.

Add a product

To add a product to the range:

  • Click on the yellow button add_circle
  • Enter the full name of the product, followed by the brand name (= manufacturer).
  • Select the correct product from the list that appears automatically.
  • If the product you are looking for is not displayed, go to the bottom of the list:
    • Click on I don't find my product.
    • Enter the brand name (manufacturer) and select it.
    • Enter the product name and select it.

The product is then added to your assortment.

Remove a product from the assortment

To remove a product from the assortment, click on the line of the product to be removed and drag it to the left.

Reorder the product list

To reorder the list of products contained in the assortment, click on the drag_handle icon to the right of the name of the product to be moved, and position the product where you want it in the assortment list.

You can also download the list in spreadsheet format, by clicking on the download button.
