Generate GS1 Digital Links
This feature is available if you have subscribed to the Business offer.
Click on GS1 Digital Link > Generation in the left-hand menu bar to access the function for generating QR codes powered by GS1.
You can select a particular GTIN directly, or use the search bar to find the GTIN you want.
On the following page, you can directly download the print order, download the QR code or copy the GS1 Digital Link URL of the product for the selected GTIN.
Dynamic Digital Link
Optionally, if you wish to add dynamic traceability information (batch number, BBD / UBD), click on the Select button in the Dynamic Digital Link tile.
You can then enter the dynamic data:
- batch number
- best-before date
- use-by date
- customer product variant
The URL and QR code are displayed dynamically on the right.
Click on Generate to save your GS1 Digital Link. You will be able to find it in the history.
The GS1 standard requires a quiet zone of 4 blocks around the QR code, a neutral zone which ensures that text or signs located outside the code cannot interfere with its reading.
QR codes generated by Packtic include this quiet zone.
